To university (15min. by bicycle)
It is about 4km to the university, and it takes about 15 minutes to ride a bicycle on a fairly flat road (it is a mountain on the campus at the end). Ride through the peaceful and rural landscape. On non-rainy days, it is assumed that you will go by bicycle. If it rains, consider to use the bus.
IMPORTANT! Be sure to have bicycle insurance, you can buy it at COOP at university.
The bus fare is 200 yen for Takata and 300 yen for Susenji.
To university (10min. by bus)
There are three routes. Please check the bus station for each.
Closest one is Takata bus stop, which is a 5-minute walk. The frequency is small, but always only a few people is riding the bus and there are a lot of free spaces and comfortable.

Most high frequency one is Susenji bus stop. It will take 15 min. walk, so if you work until mid-night, please consider to use this bus.

JR train station (11min. by walk)
Hatae Station is 11 minutes by foot. It's a straight road, so you won't get lost.
It is a very convenient location to go to Fukuoka city.
At Hatae Station, the covered bicycle parking lot is rattle free of charge.
